Met the owner, Sharon, and was absolutely amazed by how refreshing this restaurant is. She proudly serves great food and good conversation while making sure you get what you pay for!! The fried chicken was beyond awesome and the sides were great!! Definitely suggest making this a stop on your trip along I40..

One of my favorite family restaurants when I'm traveling I-40. There's plenty of parking at the Loves across the street, and about 10 sports for big trucks and RV's at the restaurant. Ordering is pay first, then sit and there is also a buffet available. I usually get the buffet and find this is more than satisfactory. The menu is American-Southern oriented and quite fairly priced! The tables and seating fits neatly in cafeteria / open restaurant format, not Denny's, but more like a 60's - 70's cafe. It's clean, friendly and the staff are helpful and positive. And.... the restrooms are large, clean and orderly. I actually despise places with poor restroom care and no comfort, these are organized well, and roomy enough for wheelchair patrons. Hope that's helpful! :-) Okay... On my way for another adventure... Y'all take care!

I've been coming through this area for years this place has been here that long there's not many places like this around anymore great food very reasonably priced nice family run atmosphere very simple but delicious.. fried chicken dumplings meatloaf catfish.. great vegetables and side dishes.. all southern comfort food.. awesome

Stopped here while driving OTR and was very satisfied with the customer service of the staff. The place is very clean and has Great options and amazing food. Also try the chicken breast chunks, the cook there is Awesome! Thank you Cox me and my husband will be returning when we are in town again. Way better choice of food unlike the Truck stops usual unhealthy fast food subway. ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET AT A VERY GOOD PRICE OF 9.99. I would give a 10 star if I had the option.

Great all you can eat buffet. Chicken and sides were really good. Place was kept very clean. Definitely better than the average road side diner. Would come back if in the area.

Nice little place! Great price for great food, 12 buffet on weekdays, main course js chicken. Looks like they make use of the whole chicken! Fried, baked, gravy, and the liver/gizzards. Highly recommend

Took a chance and stopped at this restaurant on a cross country trip. Sure glad we did. Delicious buffet with well seasoned vegetables, excellent barbecue, fried chicken, plus a number of other entrees. Salad bar and dessert included in the reasonable price. Other selections available if you're not interested in a buffet. In addition to great food, the service was super. Enjoyed talking to the owner and hearing about his impressive military family going back several generations. Thanks to the Cox family who has served our country for years.
